Trade with Daesiy ( http://daesiy.deviantart.com/ )! Art trades are closed, please do NOT ask me!

This was super fun to draw, I had a blast with it :3 Loka is a great character, plus it gave me an excuse to do some silly serval poses. The original thumbnail sketch I actually doodled on my Ethics notes, haha. And they say school isn't productive.

The image is up on my DA (link on my main channel page) if you're interested to see it full-view.

Thank you in advance for your faves, likes, and comments!

  • by far a great speedpaint, wonderful music choice, and might i ask: is that creature your drawing an ocelot caracter of someone's?

  • @Bloodhshadewolves She's a serval, but yes she belongs to my friend Daesiy.

  • I just want to say that admire your work so much! I just got Photoshop cs5 extended myself and I have a few questions if you would be so kind.

1)What tool did you use for the final line art?

2)What did you do/use to get the shading/ sun lights like that?

  • @Finchday 1) Just the standard Photoshop hard brush. 1 pixel size I think.

    2) Not sure what exactly you're reffering to. My shading is just done the standard way, on multiply layers, and the highlights are on soft light/overlay layers.

  • Hey I have a quick question. I know you use Photoshop CS5, but do you have to universal/extended version or the just the regular adobe one that costs around $150 ?

  • @ShootingStarz990 I bought it as part of the CS5 creative suite so I didn't pay for the individual program. It is the extended version though.

  • Wow- wonderful work! Your art never fails to astound me! Really- its a great picture, I'm in awe of how great you are with shading! (And not to mention your great patience! Haha). As a young artist, your definitely one of my inspirations, and hopefully I'll be as great as you one day- again, wonderful work! :)

  • I wish i could draw this good :(

  • Wow, this is amazing! I wish I can be as talented as you someday :) When you were adding highlights, the animal turned blue, why was that? (Im still in the process of learning)

  • The real title of the second song is ''Shake It'' by Vitamin String Quartet. Thumbs up so people can see!

  • just want to info u that there are no rule using your work or others for reference or redrawing. As for redrawing u can do it but not post it on the internet, sell it or show it. It can thou be excellent method of practicing, ass well and especially using reference! :)

But I do get why u tell people not to do so :) There are people who can copy and changing it a little and then be claimed as their work, but mostly its a good thing sharing your work with other as a practice, not as own work :)

  • Are you using photoshop? How do you get the lines so awesomely straight?!

Amazing artwork, you're excellent at drawing

  • u so good at drawing! :D

  • What's your favorite part of creating art on the computer btw I love the songs
