A lovely bloke lost his life stopping people crossing Workington bridge before it collapsed. Who knows how many lives he saved at the expense of his own. Even now some people in Cockermouth cannot move into their homes.
Evidently YouTube cannot determine the mental and intellectual stability of some people who allowed to comment, it really makes you wonder what their parents are like.

I've removed the messages. Sadly, Youtube doesn't stop 12 year old boys from making crude comments automatically.

No idea. I havent been able to get to that side of town. I would imagine it has as that part of town took it really bad from the helicopter footage. Don't worry though, the rescuers managed to get to everyone.

I saw a group saved from the Trout. They sounded as if they had been fine. In fact my wife fed a group in the Bitter End pub.
Hope they are OK!
