The city boast of more firsts than any city in the western hemisphere. Look it up on Google. But you jealous haters are going to hate because you live in some uncultured shit hole with a Wal-mart down the street and have nothing else to do.It is a great and vibrant city even beyond it's center. Geographically, it is the greatest place to live in America. Boston and New York to the north and Baltimore and DC to the south. Shore points to the east and mountains to the west.It is the center of US.

The eight-county greater Philadelphia area as a whole is actually growing in population. One of the reasons the city itself is loosing population is that its still relatively affordable to move to the suburbs. Housing prices in Philadelphia's suburban communities (including both Pennsylvania and New Jersey) are significantly lower that then those of similar suburbs of other Northeastern cites like Boston and New York.
