What do you believe about Jesus?

Is he a good man? Is he a prophet? Or is he, as Christians believe, actually divine?

What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he a prophet or more than a prophet?

Why is it important to understand the differences between the Christian and Islamic views of Jesus?

Representing the Muslim perspective was Imam Syed Z. Sayeed, Imam Sayeed is religious life advisor for the Muslim Campus Ministry and Office at Columbia University in New York City.

He has been affiliated with Columbia for than ten years and is an alumnus of Teachers College.

He has also taught Psychology and Education at the college level both in india and United States.

He retired as an educational administrator in 1996.

Representing the Christian side was Dr. James White: Dr. James is the director of Alpha and Omega Ministries, a Christian apologetics organization based in Phoenix , Arizona .

He is a professor, having taught Greek, Systematic Theology, and various topics in the field of apologetics.

He is also a critical consultant for the Lockman Foundation's New American Standard Bible.

He has authored or contributed to more than twenty books, including The King James Only Controversy, The Forgotten Trinity, The Potter's Freedom, and The God Who Justifies.

  • u mean it shoud be someone like Ahmed Thompson?

  • The point is he could have done better if English was his native tongue. That is all I mean.

I do not mean to say he did poorly, all I am saying he could have done better than the "pretty well" you allocate him if he was a better word-smith (ie on par with White)

    Peace

  • what are u talking about the man is an advisor for Columbia University in New York City.. ofcourse he is eloquent speaker, I think he did pretty well

  • I think the Muslim was hampered by his lack of fluency in the English language
