what are the engine hp restrictions in super vee? whats your top speed live? and that must have been sweet winning in reggie fountain's back yard.

Skater is known for their cats, but they have manufactured 2 pleasure V-bottoms and 3 race V-bottoms (Spiderman I, Spiderman II/Joe Boxer, and Lucas Oil).

Hey, it gets very hot in the cockpit and you gotta stay cool somehow ... but seriously now that I have rewatched the video I can see what you mean about looking like I'm in my boxers! Maybe, next race I'll wear my speedo ;-) stay tuned!

We are separated from the engine and fuel tanks by a firewall. If there is an incident, we jump into the water. For most of the races, the air temperature inside the cockpit is well over 100 degrees and has even reached 127 degrees. A firesuit would be very uncomfortable!

Yes, both engines must be factory sealed Mercury 525's. There are inspectors who monitor and log statistic off of the Smartcraft before and after every race.
Our top speed this season was 110+ and that was during this movie's race at Washington, NC.
And yes, not much is better than slaying a couple of Fountains in their own backyard!
