People that use gods name to do what they want to do (as you explained), are the reason i abandoned my Christianity. I didn't abandon god though. I believe in him in my own way. I just refuse to follow a group of people who don't practice what the bible teaches us. To forgive and love each other. God would never condone hatred of a singled out group, or wars against nations.
