  • nice - shame that the vid quality is so bad - you need a better cam.

  • @groomlake67 Trying to record Saturn with a small ETX-70 is probably a 'step-too-far' but worth a go. I've other special cams for my deepsky work;-)

  • HI nytecam... I am enjoying your series of videos... Thanks. just got my first telescope (an etx 70) for Xmas. Where can I get the adapter from that you connected the webcam to, please?

  • Google "webcam adapter" !

  • How does the tracking system work in ETX 70? Does it help to take photos, etc?? Thanks

  • As this vid - bright planets don't need tracking but faint deepsky does via much longer exposures.

  • I have the same telescope, i just bought a sony exmor r camera to attach to it =D

Good times good times. I got a few lenses on ebay for sale, they still have a couple days left if you want to catch one.

  • Hi Funky - just a standard ETX-70 plus x2 Barlow lens before the Toucam as shown. Scope undriven which is why Saturn 'moves' across the field of view;-)

  • wow wot lense did u use, i got this model and cant get nowhere near this good a quality pic!! well done :)
