I used a device i made in a video that amplifies the audio to 5 volts and can power up to 8 amps of LEDs. It uses a tip series transistor along with some other basic components. I modded the fan so i can control the LEDs separate from the motor. If i get requests i will make a tutorial on how to do that.

Here is my original video of building the deivce

  • Nice! How did you put that board in the bay?

  • it is hooked up to the 3.5" slot cover and now it is just attached to it like its a floppy drive but there was space there so for the video i just set it on top of my fan right there
