Keiki Camp Swim Test

When kids sign up for Aloha Beach Camp, our counselors want to know their swimming ability. So we enter the ocean together with the children to evaluate their swimming ability. It only takes a second or two. Some folks refer to this activty as a swim "test" but we hate that word so we don't use it. It's NOT a test because everyone passes, and as you can see, swimming in the ocean with a smile on your face is A LOT more fun than taking a test! So we call them swimming "evaluations," and we make the activity fun for the kids. Here's camper Ivana showing counselor Christina how well she can swim in the ocean.
