This is still true today, we need this as an anthem. Not that I like to fight, it's just some time there's no other choice. And don't run down our country, we are not the best country in the worjd, but like my Daddy would say we are one of the best. thank you Mr. Haggard. And thank you God for our freedom, and choice to be free.

Bonnie was sure a cutie.....always looked like she was having a gr8 time.
-
Roy's guitar had gr8 tone.

Judging by their facial expressions, it looks like Merle and Bonnie were chilling with Willie Nelson backstage, if you catch my drift. Good to see Roy Nichols tearin it up on this reactionary classic.

I hope some radio DJs listen to this and decide that America needs to hear this song, especially those OWS morons. Come on DJs, do it for America, bring this good music back. There s probably lots of young people that have never heard this.
Make love not war Merle.

Man, You dunnit this time-again-! Listening to Ol' Merle got me thru some of the late '60's. And of course Johnny was in there too. They don't get no better, thank you. ....dw
