I was recommended to watch these videos by my RoSPA instructor to help me understand the use of commentary, I now can't drive without talking to myself :-) if only everyone did this on the roads! Many thanks Mr Gilbert!

Mr Gilbert that is breathtaking. Thank you personally for posting this. My father served in the police for 32 years as PC, Traffic based and front desk. He was one of very few who acheived top marks on the advanced runs and unmarked bandit chases. Unfortunately he passed away this July aged 57. I too am an advanced driver with RoSPA / RoADA, passing at 21 with top marks making me the youngest in the UK with a gold grade. My refresher is approaching quickly, so i intend to buy your DVD this week!

I am a Paramedic based in South Devon, was a an ADI of 12 years, still qualified but mostly ambulance work only now. I am mentoring a student Paramedic and am able to help coach his driving. Just found your contributions to you tube, very good! I have sent some links to him to watch. Although we are trained, it is not to the same standard as police so I use my own experience to help myself and others to drive safely. Thanks for sharing your experience.

what i like best is that although you demonstrate slear caution in approaching obstacles and reducing road speed you also use good firm acceleration out of them when it is clear to do so, nice driving!
