I really like the sound of it, but I just don't feel that the melody fits the tone of Poe's poem. It should be more sad and vengeful, not so upbeat. But whatever. I kinda get the melody in some cases because it matches with the vision you get when you hear "this kingdom by the sea".
I've been looking for this song for a while now. She has a beautiful voice.

She didn't, she put a poem by Edgar Allen Poe to music. She did a good job, you will agree.
She sang this on the Transatlantic Sessions (5), for any who prefer a more dressed up version.
