  • I've been looking for this song for a while now. She has a beautiful voice.

  • She has a great voice now im addicted to her

  • @PunchKickLipstick HAhahaa I love it!

  • Wow, My favorite poem and my favorite music in one brilliant song. Well done! Two thumbs up!

  • I really like this version! No its not dark, but then again neither is Sarah. I think it fits her style perfectly!

  • It's a Poe-down...

  • @JosephCa64 jarosz wrote "this" interpretation; stevie nicks did it before her, and joan baez did it before stevie - all versions different yet the same abbreviation of the much longer source POE(m).

  • I really like the sound of it, but I just don't feel that the melody fits the tone of Poe's poem. It should be more sad and vengeful, not so upbeat. But whatever. I kinda get the melody in some cases because it matches with the vision you get when you hear "this kingdom by the sea".

  • @JosephCa64

She didn't, she put a poem by Edgar Allen Poe to music. She did a good job, you will agree.

She sang this on the Transatlantic Sessions (5), for any who prefer a more dressed up version.
