Probably was! Lots of fake swords, guns, axes, and other weaponry always get hefted around Comic-Con by fans. Usually as part of a costume.

When I watched DIstrict 9.. It reminded me so much of the short film they did for halo 3, Where it has "finish the fight" at the end. District 9 was fuckin sick !!! awesome film

i love peter but man he needs to kno how to get to the point, i swear hes as long winded as his brontosaurus chase scene in king kong, guess thats y lord of the rings turned out so good :P

That would be more bloody than District 9. District 9 was, when you look at it closely, simply people busting. But no... Gears of War wouldn't take out the body parts. They would simply cut them right down the middle with the chainsaw on the Lancer MG.
