The popular Swedish author, comedian, musician, allround stage entertainer and public speaker died suddenly last night while performing the popular stage show "Fyra lyckliga män 2" (Four happy men 2) in Uppsala. It came as a big shock to all of us who have admired his work during the last 30 years or so. He came from Northern Sweden (Piteå) but was mainly active in Uppsala and worked as an actor, comedian, songwriter, singer, musician and during his later years author and public speaker. He also recorded two vinyl albums during the 1980s and one of them is the brilliant "Vad varje kvinna bör veta om män" (What every woman should know about men) and one of the best songs is the nine minute long song "Mannens åldrar" (The ages of men) which describes the different ages of the man from a small boy to an old man. The lyrics in Swedish are very good and I feel sorry for all of you who don't understand Swedish - you're really missing something here. I will also miss Lasse Eriksson and his great comedy and I'll just sadly state that there goes another one of my heroes. Rest in peace.
