This is the 1st in a series of videos produced in collaboration with my friend, Alan Friedman - a partner with FKCO.COM - a Public Accounting Firm based in Hartford, CT.

In this lesson, I demonstrate how to use Conditional Formatting - with a Formula - to produce Alternate Row Shading - aka Green Bar Shading - in an Excel Worksheet.

Affectionately, I draw attention to the "wrong way" to create Alternate Row Shading. I say "affectionately because too many Accountants do NOT understand the many powerful features in Excel. Rather, they use manual formatting to produce the results that Excel can produce automatically.

In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to use a FORMULA in Conditional Formatting to produce the desired result.

I invite you to visit my secure online website - http://shop.thecompanyrocks.com - to preview all of the resources that I offer you.
