@metallicac21 SAME!!!!! I have the x8 and it sounds terrible in the mixer/recording but sounds perfectly fine on normal mode. It drives me insane because it's the only half-decent guitar sound in the X series.

Thanks, yeah I got the sound on the board but it's another thing to really make it work the way you did, so congrats on an astounding job. BTW, may I ask what method you use to create the background beats? Do you do them onboard or import them from another source? Thx.

Real nice. Everything you do sounds great. Is this guitar patch an original preset or from an expansion card? Name of patch? Thx
Hi I have a questionm when I play the searing cosm in the mixer, all I get is a buzzing noise, why is this, can you offer me advice

@metallicac21
hi not sure what you mean by a buzzing noise !!! is it electrical like a bad lead? or it could actually be the correct sound but if you play one note and play it lightly it could sound a bit weird, you have to play it with a bit of power as the sound relies on its touch sensitivty (played very lightly and you will only hear a harmonic) hope that makes sense

i have the X7, and i so want to know how you got that sound of yours, is it one that is already in there some where or did you do something to make it sound like that?

hi , thanks for comment. the sound is searing cosm lead found in the electric gtr section i think its patch 56 or very close to that. added a little reverb and a bit of eq thats all. the secret with that sound really is how you actually play it. you gotta think lead gtr rather than piano/keyboard style and use the pitch bender accordingly. please also listen to my audio version of sweet child of mine on here too and ul see what i mean. good luck and enjoy your x7

well the only thing i can think of is its down to how you play it, use the pitch bender to play the same as a guitarist would bend a string for example in the key of c minor instead of playing the note of g you would infact play an f but pitchbend up a tone to the g then come back to the f again use the pitch bender as much as possilble, hope that makes sense
