When I first played Silent Hill 1 I was so involved and eventually frightend I couldnt play the game with the lights off or alone in the house it truly was an excellent horror game I had to play it to the end though just to see what happens next and when the end credits bagan to roll I felt a real sence of relief and accomplishment. Well Done Boys !! you scared the crap out of me !!.

Holy shit at 25:35. You can actually find comment where I said the exact same thing about what makes Silent Hill 2 scary in (I think) one of Fungo's videos, about 3 years ago. And I swear this is the first time I see this making-of. In that comment I tried to define what are the things that made each Silent Hill scary, being:
Silent Hill 1, it's the audio.
Silent Hill 2, the things you can't see.
Silent Hill 3, the visual expression.
