100% honesty.

Merchant has only ever been funny in a Darkplace cameo, but that's probably mostly to do with the quality of Darkplace.

I don't think he ruins the single player game; it achieves that on its own (GLaDOS humour aside).

The co-op mode is exquisite on the other hand. Proper puzzling fun.

I like your positive attitude, however:

1) He's SUPPOSED to be annoying and idiotic within the context of the story.

2) He doesn't deserve praise for being from Bristol. Christ.

3) Referencing other things he's been in is just lazy. At least that didn't happen.

I think his accent is charming! He reminds me of the typical English eccentric, all bumbling but still exceptionally eloquent and affable! He was a BRILLIANT Wheatley, but not saying Space Core wasn't great either...SPAAAAAAAACE! :p
