In this video we make an Irish Stout using the Coopers Irish Stout and 1 can of Coopers Unhopped Light Malt Extract. We used an additional ounce of Fuggles hops for flavor/aroma. We also made a yeast starter with the yeast that was included with the kit.

  • would you not drink this without the unhopped malt extract? you seem to add unhopped malt extract in all your brews on top of whatever it is ur brewing.

  • @sexylilthug77 The recommended additional fermentables for the Coopers Irish Stout is 500 grams of dry malt extract and 300 grams of dextrose. I wanted to boost the gravity even higher and decided to do so with a full can of unhopped malt extract syrup. I prefer all malt beers most of the time.

  • If you doing recipes like this how about a ingredient list in the video descriptions.

  • @eedwards74 You're right. The ingredients are Coopers Irish Stout, 1.5 kg Coopers Unhopped Malt Extract and 1 oz of Fuggles hops.

  • Ok I have to ask...... Who are the bobbleheads on your counter? lol

  • @RevolutionaryBrewer Ken Griffey Jr and Ichiro.
