Never will forget the FIRST air starter I ever heard ...I was a kid riding along with DAD. The driver sat up there waiting for me to cross right infront of his radiator ...then hit that LOUD air starter. I almost crapped my pants and he is sitting up there in that seat laffing! Great video, thanks for the memories.

To the person asking about putting an air starter on a car , yes it has been done. My father knew a guy who had one on a Holden (Aust GM) race car many years ago. The compression the motor had used to kill the old electric starters. So the solution he used was just that. I'm talking a LOOONG time ago, and on a race car. Impactrical for day to day use but I'd guess

Is it possible to mount an air-starter on 6syl straight engine in a car? The sound from the air starter is great and it would be fun to have it in a car instead of a eletric starter. Not everyone have that if possible :)

@Monza24vR6 Don't know if it could be done. Finding or modifying one to fit your car engine I think would be difficult and then you also need an air reservoir tank, hoses, valves and a compressor to replenish the air in the tank. Maybe possible, but a lot of work and not practical.
