the mars volta doesnt play music to "please their fans". they play to test the boundaries of what they can accomplish as musicians. if you dont like what they have become than thats your problem. believe me, your missing out on some classics

@ravesaredead69 i think its more like mars volta all around kicks ass period. you cant compare ANY 2 studio albums, live albums, singles, or EPs because they always sound completely different, they never sound worse or better, although sometimes they sound more interesting. every release they've had is equally as amazing for me :)

sorry guys but i saw them when Eva was on bass at the chain reaction and maybe 7 times after that and they were alot better in the beginning. but i am not about to get into this argument on youtube.
