If you are questioning the scripture in Exodus that says we are not to make any graven images of heaven above or earth below...make sure you read verse 3: "Thou shall have no other gods before thee. Thou shall not make any graven images...or bow down and worship them," because back then they made idols and statues of their false gods and worshiped them. God said He's a jealous God and doesn't want us worshiping any other God. In India last year, they've made gold statues of Obama and are bowing down and worshipping him...THAT is what Exodus if referring to if you read the WHOLE scripture and understand the entirity of its context. We are ONLY to bow down to Jesus, not to other gods.
