Tolkien was the first to inspire me to write, so naturally, I wrote many poems based on his trilogy The Lord of the Rings. I wrote a series of three poems based on three of the ladies in LOTR; Goldberry, Arwen, and Eowyn (the one I wrote for Galadriel turned out quite different then these three). I wrote the poems from the perspective of an admiring observer and these poems show the best of these three ladies.
The poem was written by me.

Celtic Woman has such haunting music and vocals, it just fits LOTR so well. I'm glad you liked it so much. :-)

Just beautiful. More should be expressed but that's all I can think to say right now, simply beautiful.

I purposely kept it simple. Think of the speaker as being just a peasant from a Rohan village who had only heard a rumor of Eowyn's deeds during the War of the Ring and doesn't know much more than that. Maybe Eowyn came to visit her bother in Edores and the speaker was there, saw her for the first time, and had this impression. I'm glad you liked it. :-)
