@DaveJ721 The word "cock" doesn't mean penis. It's another word for rooster. A Gamecock is a fighting rooster, used in cockfighting. The nickname was made before our retarded teens and 22 year olds made it mean penis.

@DaveJ721 The Gamecock is named after Thomas Sumter, who acquired the nickname, "The Carolina Gamecock" during the American Revolution for his fierce fighting tactics, regardless of the size of his forces or the opposition. A British General commented that Sumter "fought like a gamecock", and Cornwallis paid him the finest tribute when he described the Gamecock as his greatest plague. Learn some history please.

This is great! But this year during the 12 measure interlude they added a part where the fans chant C-A-R-O-L-I-N-A GOOOOO COCKS! Its pretty cool.

Just a question out of curiosity, what exactly is a Gamecock?
One small thing -- It's "USC will win tonight" (not 'today') -- rhymes with "FIGHT!"

@hanncoll : No, according to the academic website, the words I posted are correct, and I presume that it will have to rhyme with "way."
