The Hepatitis B Foundation together with the Office of Minority Health and the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations is launching a public service announcement (PSA) to raise community awareness of hepatitis B and encourage Asian Americans to get tested for this preventable and treatable disease.

The television PSA, which was developed with the support of Gilead Sciences, highlights that a shocking one in ten Asian Americans has hepatitis B and asks: "Could you be one of them?" The 30-second spot will air in cities across the U.S. this summer on network affiliates as well as Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese community stations.
