@mrmn8honeybee, I don't know where you got "90% of scientists believe in a 'god' ", but you couldn't be more wrong. In a survey done in 2009 it states that 41% of scientists do not believe in a god or higher power of any kind. This has not changed dramatically in the past few years, get your facts straight. I can't link my reference for this but if you google "percentage of scientists who believe in god" it is the first link that comes up. Please do research before opening your mouth.

Science doesn't tell us what is real, it only describes what is perceived.

Reality is the idea of a "real" world which exists independent of human senses. The problem is, that humans can only perceive the world via their senses. This means that reality is a concept which is unverifiable by it's very definition, much like god.

So, to replace belief in god through religion, with belief in reality via science, isn't really an improvement. It's simply a substitution of one fallacy for another.
