CAT and Malaysiakini launch Travel Channel

Who is CAT? What does VirtualMalaysia.com and travel.malaysiakini.com have in common? Established in 1999, one of the many aims of Creative Advances Technology Sdn Bhd or CAT for short is to offer IT solutions for the tourism industry. In the digital era, what better way to promote a country's uniqueness through on-line interaction project?

CAT has come out with a system known as the Standard Online Tourism Architecture (SOTA) which offers a one-stop solution to help give that extra push to our local tourism industry. As such, a collaboration between CAT and Malaysiakini will see a different pathway in the tourism industry being carved, where the new service will offers its consumers a one-stop solution to all their travelling needs.

Here, Vincent Kok the CEO of CAT shares his views on SOTA and how it will help travellers. both local and international, while Malaysiakini CEO, Premesh Chandran shares his thoughts on the service as well.
