The audio interviews are a discussion of the Kennedy family past, the present (1964) when the recordings were made, and of the future of what Mrs. Kennedy had said the President had planned to do if reelected. In 1964 when these historical tapes were made, she mentioned how this song had "upset" her at the time when this song was released. I didn't express an opinion about the song or anything else--I only presented facts that could be of interest to those who listen to this song.

@lexba This recording was made BEFORE the JFK assassination, NOT in 1964! It would have been viewed as incredibly tasteless to publish such a song in light of the National mourning of an emmensely popular President.

In the 2011 release of the Jackie Kennedy history tapes, made in 1964, she apparently makes a reference to this recording. It made her upset and would not let her children even know about it, let alone listen to it.

This song was recorded in 1962 by little Jo Ann Morse (7yrs old) backed up by Harmony Jones and his Orchestra. It peaked to #67 on the Billboard chart, in Cashbox it went to #71. I have always wondered who she was and whatever became of her, it would be interesting to find out, I've searched high/low with no results...from Canada somewhere I believe.
