who can tell me where can i learn violin ,,

im from iran ,but unlocky im in outside a iran..

do somebody can tell me if i want to learn violin,which site i can learn online or to buy some DVD or something like that to learn,,

You should find a violin teacher in your area. I am sure there are many of them in your area. You can also watch Professor V 's violin lessons on youtube.

He is a great violinist. Does anyone know what is the KOOK of violin? and what Dastgah he is performing?

As I have ben trying to practice his tapes and notes, that would be great to know.

The KOOK is "me-la-re-la". And the dastgah is "Bayate Esfehan" (re minor).

I used to listen to Mr. Shamlou's tapes when I was working on Saba's Radifs about 20 something years ago, I may have really high expectations for some one like him, or maybe i am frustated as all my masters have gone to the other world, but he could have done much better, he has the techniques, he made me nervious watching his performance after all these years.

I agree that he could play much better. He is a creative musician with a unique style of playing Violin and hates to copy others. You can see this in these videos (all of the songs are composed by himself and he plays them like no body else). This is what new player like Bijhan Mortazavi need to learn. One of the songs that Bijhan played at Greek Theatre in 1994 is a mixture of two songs by Tajvidi and Shamlou and he never mentioned it!!! This is what we should be nervious about.

Mr.Shamlou is the Best Alive Persian Violinist right now...and he has his own Style of music which is mixed of Persian and Classical music.He is the best and im in love with his musics and i 100% agree with amoradif that Bijan's most famous songs are Mr.Shamlou's and he also has them in his Books.i nu one which called Raghse Parvane which made 40 years ago by Mr.shamlou and its in his Radif Kamele Homayon Book!there is also some other songs that i nu.i think Bijan should at least Mentioned them

He is the best violin player in Iraq and IRan.He is playing very good and (amoradif)if I were you I wouldnot say he could play much better because he is realy unique.I can easly say he is handread times better than bizhan. HE has great personality and people from kurdistan in north of Iraq and WEST of Iran proud of him because he is a great kurdish musician.long live for ostad Shamlo and kurdisatn......Allan vancouver
