Location The Coach House Hotel and Restaurant. In the bar is a really old jukebox(1890). It is a partially automated music-playing device, a coin-operated machine, that can play specially selected big perforated metal plates with different compositions from that time. The sound was recorded with DPA microphones on our Sony HD cam V1E. So High Definition and great sound more in real HD at: vimeo.com/globaldvc

This might only be the oldest surviving coin-op. The first jukebox using wax cylinders was installed in a Paris bar in 1889, but only a pencil drawing has come down to us.
