@ekipito your better off spending a little bit more money, because going from texes specials to duncans, in my opinion is not worth the jump. If I were you I would check out fralins split blades because you can order blues, vintage or high output, my friend has these and they freaken awesome, go to the lindy fralin site and check the strat split blades out, I don't think U will ever look back once U try them.

@offbeat72 I have the Seymour Duncan APTL-1 Alnico II Pro for Tele in my bridge, is this the same as yours. I don't find it as punchy as my fender stock one, but I like it more, because when I have the tone pot rolled all the way up it dose not get any ice pick at all, and the fender one did, which in my opinion is a winner wright their, don't get me wrong it still has plenty of twang and bite, plus the bottom end is their with these pickups, and playing low volume on my hot rod deluxe is great.

Thanks for your comment.....
The pickups of the SX are not very well for me.... but it's a fabulous guitar for the price... light weight... ash body... thinline.... In Europa, there are many pickups for telecaster ,low cost:, for example, the Tonerider Vintage plus in England are very, very good.... but not expansive... they have put in the set of the Squier classic vibe (50's or custom 62)... I have tried them.... and they have the true sound of "telecaster".

Hi, i bought the same guitar on this friday, i'm really surprised about how good it sounds... i also have an American Fender Strat with texas special, and a 1965 Guild T-100-D, i cannot belive how cheap i paid this guitar and how good it sounds.
i also want to change pups, any suggestion for blues?
one idea i have is the Fender Humbuckers, that was the original idea when i bought it.. but maybe i`ll leave it with single coils. give me ideas, please!!,
greetings from Argentina
