MB Quart proudly releases a line of newly developed RLP shallow mount subwoofers with an ultra-slim design, solid double-roll reinforced steel frame and a powerful magnet system. The RLP series have been specifically designed for small and compact enclosures.

Other outstanding features in this high-quality and acoustically sound line include 3" voice coils on glass fiber former with an injection molded cone neck support, injection polypropylene flat piston cone for maximum damping and structural rigidity and a ¾" high NBR rubber surround for more cone area and excursion.

With a super low mounting depth of 3" and extremely compact housing this line is ideal for restricted spaces. The RLP subwoofers bring uncompromisingly powerful bass reproduction to car audio - even in applications where the space available really leaves no room for subwoofers.

RLP subwoofers further include premium features such as single flat poly cotton spiders with woven tinsel lead wires, paintable composite trim ring and custom nickel plated push type terminals.

RLP254 10" is DVC 4-Ohm and handles 300wrms/600wmaxx.
RLP304 12" is DVC 4-Ohm and handles 300wrms/600wmaxx.

  • What speaker wire would you recommend for these?

  • @BastardRevolver 12-14 gauge is sufficient.

  • are they as good ...as the kicker cvt 12", or rockford fosgate p3sd212, or maybe the pioneer ts-sw301.. can u tell me which one is better please if its not any trouble

  • @TheSugabear210 Absolutely they are. But, you would probably want to get some feedback from someone impartial as I am proud of this product and think it sounds amazing. It has a shallower mounting depth than the other models and works in a one of the smallest enclosures. You should look at each of the manuals to see what the F3 -3dB point is for each sub in the enclosure sizes they recommend.

  • SPL? The guy says it can handle frequencies down to 25Hz. . . So when it gets down by 25 will it start distorting or will it be loud and clear and smooth?

  • @King622 It far from an SPL woofer. It sounds very clear on the low end. Since it's a shallow sub designed for small sealed volume it actually has a natural peak in the 50Hz range. I typically recommend setting the Low Pass around 60-70Hz on this sub rather than the 70-80Hz cutoff I recommend on standard subs.

  • @Clandestinexkid BRZ12SQD4's for sure check out my videos of the older ones ... they wont let u down they slam hard !!! id go with a bigger box than 2.0 cu ft like i had but not bigger than 3.25 cu ft ! my new box will be 3.0 and tuned @ 34 hz

  • I am pretty impressed with how shallow the mount is yet the design allowed for a 3" voice coil, I don't know of any others that offer that! But I don't look at shallow mount woofers for my jeep, I will wall it eventually!
