On the other hand, it's so clear that Reid is reverting to Dr. mode for self-preservation. He does care - too much - and doesn't know how to deal with it. Awesome acting!

@roilan21 He is, but this is a great example of how doctors ask for this sense of betrayal when they build themselves up to be godlike - which Reid definately does when it comes to his ability as a doctor. That plus the huge guilt Luke's feeling.....

Eric's portrayal of Reid's emotions in the scene from about 1:00 to 1:30...amazing...Reid already love's Luke. He is so hurt by the things Luke is saying to him, BUT he is also so hurt to see Luke in so much pain...Eric can portray the depth of those kind of feelings...my heart breaks for both Luke and Reid in that scene.
