  • Does anybody know where I can get the transcript for this particular talk? (Besides waiting for the Ensign).

  • @mdixon1982 I think it will be posted on the Church website maybe tomorrow. If not very soon.

  • We should not give in to all our desires, if everyone tried to do that than we would be most unhappy, homosexuality is a choice, just like abortion, but should you choose it just because you can?

  • I like our video response on this speech ...not quite as long winded.

  • @Juliehamilton22 I challenge you to give one example of how the government will limit how you practice your religion should gay marriage be legal.

  • Gah! Hypocrit!

"What good would a vote against gravity do?" REALLY? are you that blind to your own hypocracy?? What good would a vote FOR gravity do? huh? If we can't change God's commandments with a vote, why the hell does it matter if we vote in gay rights? The eternal outcome will be the same, so it doesn't matter right? So why does the church spend MILLIONS of tithing dollars a year on fighting gay rights? Freakin double talker....

  • It will be a never ending cycle and all that can be done is to live YOUR life. Live how YOU want and not attack anyone else. There will never be any peace between ANYTHING if all we do is fight against those who are different.

  • for what they believe. I will no shove my ideals down your throat if you do the same. (you is general). I have many homosexual and bisexual friends who I love dearly. I am no God and cannot judge them for the choices they make that are different than my own and neither can anyone else judge them or myself. If everyone could stop with the hypocrisy and realize there will ALWAYS be something to argue about in any situation. If I scream ignorance, someone else calls me ignorant for being ignorant

  • Neither God nor the Devil can make us do anything. If God MAKES us do something he will cease to be God and the Devil has no power to try to make us do something. So all that is left is the ability to choose for ourselves, therefore everything we do in our lives is a choice. I was not born straight or gay, I chose to be how I felt comfortable and to do what I believe to be right. If homosexuality is just that for you, please by all means, do what makes you happy. I commend anyone who stands up

  • @creative10101010 uh, sure... I am not sure exactly what this is in reference to, but I agree with God's word the Bible.

  • @Juliehamilton22 I know, you weren't hysterical per se. I meant eyes and ears turned off to what I was saying.
