At this point, the chef has made a kind of egg omelette on the hot plate and is trying to make us catch pieces of it in our mouths!

  • bravo

  • teppanyaki is best when the chef has a great sense of humor.

the chef we had tonight was very funny. its really what made the whole experience worthwhile.

  • psh we got the best chef here he throws the egg up and cuts it in half in the air ,he does the hat thing and builds a volcano :D his name is hing and we throw shrimp here.

  • someone clean3d the floor after dinner i hope.

  • darn thats why i said alabama. i had a big feeling it was the one in england lol. oh well i'll do that.

  • Sorry, I meant in England. just keep an eye out or any places you visit if you can't find one near you.

  • Birmingham Alabama? If so, what is the name of the restaurant? I've been dying to see some teppanyaki in person.

  • Great video. I went to a Teppanyaki resturant in Birmingham earlier, the guy was crazy fiend with his blades (sort of like Tom Cruise in Cocktail, but with scalpels) the food was OK but the sheer entertainment value and charm was worth the steeply price.

He didn't do the hat or the toss business though, the fucker.

  • that was a gay laugh by that woman

  • the "wierd" looking spatula is a traditional teppanyaki spatula most U.S> resturants use the standard dexter russel ones. mostly because of the introduction of spatula tricks. this is an older style of teppanyaki. good video i learn something new everytime i watch one of these.
