I thought you need seven dice? I am someone trying to get into D&D. I have no knowledge of the rules or how to play, so correct me if I'm wrong : ). AND please give some tips to a new player like myself.

@RWSThe101 Pretty much every thing you need is in the box. as for tips the best thing i can say is play the game even if it's just the single player part of the red box and you soon pick up on how things work

I like to tell people, that ask, that D&D is for anyone who likes to watch Fantasy or SIFi movies, Play video games, reading, or have ever dreamed of writing a story, no matter how crappy it would be. It is like all these these only you get to choice your actions and they can be whatever you want. It has no limits like other entertaiments. Its filled with excitment, accomplishments, failures, and tons of laughs,& good social fun.

Is it true that you can only choose from the 4 races ( Dwarf, Elf, HUman, and Halfling) and only 4 classes ( Rouge, Mage, Cleric and Fighter)
