Frontpage? WTF?

@sandwichsteen MovableType has changed considerably since this video was made 2 yrs. ago, so depending on what version of MT you are using, it may not be relevant. That said, FrontPage was the old version of what is now called "Microsoft ExpressionWeb". Alternatively, some people use "Adobe Dreamweaver". Or, if you don't have either program, do a search for "Best Free WYSIWYG editor" and download a free WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor to edit your code. Hope that answers your ?

Is the category archive available in mt 5?

@ChurrojanRedG Haven't used MT 5. Much of our content has been moved to Wordpress as I'm happier with it's day-to-day function. Mt 5 may be better, but MT3 (especially early versions) were good for their time but comparatively clunky. Again, haven't used the more recent versions.

Glad you found it helpful. I found Movable Type so dificult initially and wish a video like this had existed. Just by putting the right code into any template, you can make Movable Type build pages the way you want them to look.

Thanks this opened my eyes a bit, I didn't realise you could put MT code into any old HTML page and have it still function!
