How did you get the clear marble to stick to the paper? I don't see any glue residue. Are you using gel medium?
-
I use clear silicone to adhere objects to the glass...you can buy it at hardware stores in caulking tubes, For small objects, the silicon has to be applied carefullyl-I sometimes use toothpicks or little nails, etc. I still get messy residue once in awhile, but with practice you can get pretty good at it. I apply larger flat items, pictures and such with a product called Yes Paste, which you can get at most craft or art supply shops. Again, practice with it first...it's great stuff

What do you put on your glass when you adhere things to it so that it doesn't show the glue or any other residue from what you have used? I have been wanting to do this kind of project for a long time with pictures that I have taken over the years. I just found your channel here and I had to subscribe to it. What an inspiration, you are a wonderful artist.

Hi i am really enjoying your videos. What do you use to glue your canvases to the frames?

I love your work and style.
do you also use the silicone medium to attach the paper to the glass? is the paper on the inside or outside of the glass, I'm assuming the inside of the glass. Your work is amazing and So Inspiring. I had to subscribe! You have a major fan. You make this seem less intimidating than all of the books out there, btw- I hope you publish a book one day if you haven't already.

@karenchristine9 Hi thanks for your great comments-yes, I use the silicone to attach the paper cutouts to the outside (top) of the glass-I really haven't found anything that works better for adhering paper to glass. I use a VERY thin layer of the silicon on the cutouts-you may want to practice with some paper and glass before doing this...if there is any sticky residue left on the glass (it does happen)-I let it dry for a day and then carefully (but easily) scrape it off with a razor blade.

I use clear silicone, the kind that comes in the big caulking tubes that you can buy at any hardware store. I also use it for the smaller, more detailed kind of work that involves small pieces of objects and pictures, etc. I believe that this stuff is also used to fix broken and leaky aquariums.
