Protect Our Teen Daughters TV Spot (Diner): You may not be aware, but in Oregon today, a young girl 15, 16 or 17 years old can become pregnant and be referred to an abortion clinic without a parent ever knowing. Parental Notification is Common Sense.

  • @LittleLucrecia "Most prolifers are men". Can you tell me where I can find that statistic? It interests me. Most every pro-life event that I've happened upon seems to be comprised primarily of women. Probably 70-30 or something like that. At least that is what I have witnessed on several occasions. I would be very interested to see some compiled figures on such things. I think it would be interesting, and it might alter my perception, which could be wrong. Thanks for any help!!

  • "At the party or hotel". Nice bit of judgmental stereotyping there, jerk.

  • "Humanity" is a philosophical concept, not a scientific one. Embryology can no more tell us whether a six-week embryo is "human" than zoology can tell us whether a cow is "sacred".

  • who is this directed at, I lost track of the conversation.

  • I guess ROE V WADE is absolete too then? Forget abortion altogether then. Why does it matter if there isn't a 2 at the beginning of the date? If RVW went back to court they would lose due to modern evidence of the humanity of a developing child.

  • Then at least the baby is safe. The social worker service should remove the both children from their custody.

  • So you think that ONE of the woman's "rights" are more important the ALL of the child's rights. I'm not a girl and have no idea what it is like, you'r right. But, I care more about the person being ripped to shreds all for the sake of slight psychological or vanity related reasons. I think the CHOICE is at the party or the hotel, not in the clinic. I feel terrible for rape victims, but tw wrongs don't make a right. An abortion doesn't make any of that better. That is like perscribing amnesia.

  • Exactly. you are a guy, and you will never, ever have to face this decision on your own. Dont go giving some bullshit about how you understand what a girl goes through when she's pregnant, you will never know.

there's a reason why most prolifers are men, if they force a woman to keep an unwanted child, they can skip town and never have to deal with the kid

You dont want unwanted children being made, go get a vasectomy. Dont go telling a woman that her body belongs to her child, and not herself.

  • They shouldn't even hae custody, and there shouldn't be an abortion in the first place, so why does that matter? The circumstances of a pregnancy don't change the obvious humanity of the child. It isn't crap because regular modern science deffines the baby as being human just as much as you or me. So the parents are also loosing grandchildren, not just their NECESSARY knowledge of their immediate child.

  • I get your point, but please, never criticise the teens for getting pregnant in the first place. They do have a responcibility to good decisions, but insulting them only causes more abortions. I know you mean well, but by attacking the original fact of the pregnancy, you make the teens want to hide it. You make them want to make it "go away". How does mainstream culture tell them to do that? ABORTION So please try to be a bit more easy on them.
