  • I want to add that I do like Neil Conn, who still manages to get the message across through the bluster. But I like the bluster too, because that's Scottish weather putting in its own opinion. I look forward to taking the tour myself.

     Perhaps because I'm used to all those Michael Wood tour films, I found myself wishing that the camera hadn't always been stationary--especially in a location like the chapel where we could have gotten a sense of the dimensions of the place or of what the Black Rood and the statue's face look like head-on. But I imagine that would involve equipment beyond their means. Wood usually walks you up to a location, too, so you get more context, a bigger picture. I seem to be out of . .
