Technology For Autism Awareness

With the advancement in computer hardware and software in last 10 years, we believe this is the high time we utilize technology to make the intervention smarter and intense. By utilizing technology in a moderate way in a controlled and planned environment combined with human touch can we make the offered supplemental intervention to children with Autism intense?

How can we utilize technology to make the intervention intense at the same time high quality? The challenge autism community face with the technology driven intervention is individualization. Also documentation and data collection from the success and failure of the offered intervention needs to be monitored. Can we make use of this successes and failures from the offered intervention to develop most efficient and effective model for that particular child? If the answer is yes, there is a technology available to the autism community which can deliver very individualize intervention utilizing touch screen technology delivered through kiosk, tablets and phones.

Shanesh Colors Academy for children with autism. The COLORS Academy offers COLORS Program -- a unique Program designed specifically for students with special Education needs. The COLORS program delivers Individualized Colors Education Plan (ICEP) through kiosks and mobile devices. The ICEP packages vibrant & colorful animated content that teaches skills based on Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

The goal of COLORS program is to provide an Integrated, Innovative and Individualized education empowered with smart Video Tracking, Monitoring and Document System using Touch Screen Technology.
