@smith37s You know I want to agree, but why would you call this suffering? Perhaps a little socially anxious, I think he more just did not wanna look like a cunt. You notice how in the full interview he asks consistently "does this make sense?" This is not a question a unconfident person asks, It's a fear of sounding specifically undignified of the position that fiction gives. A position of consequence, Of meaning, that is hard to speak about. Reflective people suffer, but dont cheapen it.
David spoke a great truth in this vid said very similarly once before...John 8:34: "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin..."
You can tell he had some social anxiety issues which went along with the depression. In most interviews he's very self conscious of coming off in a certain way, and will be careful to correct/recant things that could be misconstrued. Very reflective person however, and introverted reflective people can suffer from those things.
Does anyone else notice that theres usually a certain pattern of blinks, inhales and carefully placed smirks when a someone like this wants to convey a point that they feel is important......?
