Every video of Pink Floyd ive watched have always showed people fighting, im 13 years old and i understand what the point of the album is saying is that when england riots is when everyone needs to stand together no matter how isolated you truely are from society we need to stick together and we should not fight against each other we should fight for true freedom

It was criticizing your father for 'wasting' his twenties without going to see Floyd, Soft Machine, etc. I was just pointing out that there are many people out there that didn't have the chance to go see Pink Floyd. @mynmyself You just don't understand do you? Pink Floyd was one hell of a band to try and get to see. Their shows were limited and they sold out quickly. Their North American Wall Tour only played two cities: New York City and Los Angeles.
