How is King's eye condition? I was reminded of that by watching this. I was led to believe the degeneration of his eyesight was irreversible and unstoppable. I hope that's not true.

@dorisblake Blood and Smoke is an audio book designed to look like a pack of marlboro cigarettes. If you're a fan, it's an awesome item to pick up considering alot of what's on there is only available in that audio set. Plus, Stephen King does the voice work for all of the stories which just plain rocks.

@samspadena what's blood and smoke? i thought i knew about all his stuff! i actually listened to this one on my ipod. the guy who did the voice was pretty good but not his womens' voices.

@Portal624 Is "The Stand" that good? I had just recently started reading his books. I had just finished "It". But I am starting to read "The Stand". Do you recommend any books from him? Or what?

Stephen King is a fantastic story teller, it's a joy to hear him read his work. I've never been much on audio books, but his Blood and Smoke release was great to hear.

This book seems to have more villains and all-around assholes than any book King's ever written. I'm 800 pages in and wish death on so many of the characters.

i know what you mean i had shoulder ache lying in bed reading it and kept having to turn sides to give each one a reast frickin great book though.
