Microsoft only supports Dx APi in their products.

Microsoft can bring Dx12 but they won't because it would affect to their xb0x360 console and sales of its games. Microsoft holds the entire technology because they got the Monopoly from OS ,Graphic API, and supporting to Hardware. , gaming supports. unless someone breaks this successfully this cycle would repeat in the next console life circle as well. the trend of OpenGL is bit low because of the pressure by the Microsoft.

that's what I was saying there is no reason for another new card series. I can play my on 460GTX every single game with MAX settings even with Dx11 + Tessellation on is possible on 25~30 frame rate.the whole point is not about developing the techs but about their business. so that's why since 2006 we are still in the age of Dx9. there is a lil progress since 2006. the reason is the Console. it holds the step up of the technology.

@SquareCrystal dx12 isnt going to be out for quite a while.look at the time gap between 10 and 11. even games nowadays still use dx9 like the new kingdoms of alamur reckoning.

@carloshunter1021 yep bout to purchase this card. After being a long time nvidia owner. I have a wireless headset and the fucken nvidia drivers or nvidia card conflicts with my headset and it pops like shit. Tried my friends ATI card and it works like a charm
