I have a question on sanding the bondo, I noticed that you used a lot of bondo and when I use it I use little as I can but enough to get imperfections out. It seems though that only makes it worse haha And when I go to sand it it doesn't turn out quite as smooth as yours seems. Do you wet sand when sanding or just sand it smooth because of how much is applied.

Hey, UtubeWarren. I build the same kinds of HALO props that you do. Armor, weapons, helms. All the good ol' fan stuff. @shainli I have heard that a lot of people say the the resin and mat have a very strong smell.

what are the advantages to using smoothcast 300 on the inside instead of more resin and fiberglass mat?

Um.....whats the foamy stuff you put ontop and sides for detial (never heard of someone doing that to thes armour its really sweet)

They're called Foamies. You can pick them up at any craft store or Walmart in the craft section. They have around 3 different thickens and sizes.

is epoxy and bondo the same?

No. Bondo is also the Brand btw.
Epoxy is a resin/glue not make for the application.
Bondo is a body filler made of cars and body work. Both are considered to by a "plastic" but are like apples and oranges, not the same.
