The iraqis are killing themselves because of all the stupid religious sects. The only reason it's gotten worse is because the US took out Saddam who kept the sects down with an iron fist.
That was their big mistake

@qwertypoiu4321 do you know how dumb you sound? appearantly not. you obviously don't have a clue about the history of iraq. i'm not an expert but i lived there for 2 years and have spoke to many of the natives of iraq. in the 20 plus years that saddam was in power, he killed much more than a million.....and they were his people!!! and, i wouldn't necessarily call the war a massacre, many iraqis have been helped/saved because of our presence in iraq. you are one sided and narrow minded.

Then why did Hitchens support Saddam when he came to power? I oppose Saddam and sharia law for the same reason I am opposed to the US massacre(that has killed more people than Saddam did in 20 years), because they all violate voluntarism.

Hitchens is a fool. While he is dying he should think about the ONE MILLION Iraqi's that died because of the US massacre he supported.

9-11 happened because of the US State(which Hitchens worships) occupying the Arabian Peninsula and funding Israel. That is what Osama Bin Laden said in 2001-October, 1998, AND 1996! The attack on the African Embassy was on the ANNIVERSARY of the US State occupying the Arabian Peninsula!!!
And either way the US State has no legitimacy committing larceny to pay for any US massacre anyway.
