The Song Of The Prune

Frank Crumit - who, when I first posted this, was barely represented on YouTube - was one of the wittiest writers and performers of comedy songs in the 1920s. As a tribute to him I've done a version of one of my favourite Crumit songs: "The Song Of The Prune". I first heard this performed by the great English jazz guitarist Diz Disley, with whom I was privileged to play some folk club gigs in the 80s. This is also dedicated to Diz.

From the Poem By Rudyard Kipling and I thought I was the only one who remembered Frank.
