  • I return from time to time just to watch this video because of the peace and beauty that I feel comes through from them as they play this lovely song!

  • Amazing group MJQ! so versatile in their music, I have every style and love them all! But it's this song "One Never Knows" that I especially listen to for solitude and just relax and let myself drift away.............................................beautiful!

  • Dave here. The quartet has produced what appears to be a perfect rendition of "One Never Knows," as originally played by the Modern Jazz Quartet in the late 1950's for the film, "No Sun In Venice," scored by John Lewis for film producer Raoul Levy ("And God Created Woman" starring Brigitte Bardot.). I have the London Jazz Series recording No. LTZ-K 15140 which seems to be in like-new condition. Bought: Monterey, CA, 1959. $2.35. Monaural. Cover: J.M.W. Turner painting, "View of Grand Canal."

  • the quality of these videos is amazing, thanks for putting these out. I'm enjoying them all
