@Firewindwaterearth1 maybe, but Light never specified for Raye to forget his voice, and then Raye remembered when he actually saw Light, so it could be one of those situations where you can't place the voice of someone you haven't spoken to very often, and we don't know how good Raye's memory was generally

@VolvenIV I don't know if the creators planned it this way, but Death Note has caused a lot of discussion from various people about what is right and wrong, usually referencing Light's actions. While some people think Light was doing what was right by killing criminals and those who got in his way, some people think the opposite. I am the latter, and I side with L. But like you said, it's all opinion.

@jagkeum1212 Well, in one perspective L is the good guy and Light the badguy. Thats the nice thing about this story, its told from the perspective of the villian instead of the ''guy who saves the day''. But wether Light is a villian is opinional aswell...

@mel160294 maybe it's cause ray's name was already in the death note; light used ray to recieve the files of the other FBI agents, so its quite possible that the cause of death wouldnt allow ray to remember lights voice.
